SAT I exam...fun to me only or just made to be so?
Well, just did my SAT I exam yesterday. Must say, I expected more of it. For starters, the math was that of primary school(okay so I'm exaggerating). The math had questions like 6x-8=20, what is 3x-4? I mean come on, this is an exam for entering a university for crying out loud. That is a joke for someone who wants to enter a uni. Well, at least the English was up to par. Boy I can tell you, there were words I had never seen before in my life. The essay was, how to say it, tough. Mainly due to the fact I had only 25 minutes to write, plan and organize. I had it tough cause GP had trained me to do that in 15 min. Hardly enough time to write 5 paragraphs worth. I felt that it was undermining GP. We learn to balance an essay. With only 3 points, I hardly call that balancing. The question was(please don't tell around) about win-lose and win-win situations. Now it would have been an interesting topic but time factor killed it. As for the comprehension sections, there was barely time to read and do. It was a read and do at the same time. I'm sure that section messed up. Well, all in all, I think I did okay for it. At least it wasn't a killer. But I still have to take SAT II at the end of the year. Better get full marks for that.
Well that's all for today. Hope to write again soon and hopefully I can get that background up and running soon too.
